About 4 hrs at a wandering pace
I spent a few days on my own in Margate at the beginning of October. Although I was remote working, on one of the mornings we had an engineering department ‘all hands’ which was taking place until lunchtime. I took the opportunity to walk the Kentish coast from Margate to Ramsgate, knowing that I could take part in the meeting from my phone if I took longer than anticipated (which I did!).
I was staying just across from the Lido, which is where the walk starts at about 6.30 am.
